The Wold lab is interested in understanding the effects of where you live, work, and exercise on human health. The following projects are ongoing:

• The role of particulate matter less than 2.5µm in diameter (PM2.5) on cardiovascular disease progression.

• The potential effects of PM2.5 exposure on Alzheimer’s Disease progression in the brain and heart.

• The cardiovascular and pulmonary effects of electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) exposure.

• Health implications following exposure to World Trade Center dust.
